Amber Eggers has died at an Atlanta hospital at 41 years old. Her mother, Monica Eggers, confirmed the news after Amber spent several days receiving emergency care.
Amber went to the hospital earlier in the week when she started feeling sick. Her condition got worse fast, and doctors could not keep her heart beating Thursday night.
Her mother said the final cause of death was acute liver failure. Medical staff tried to stabilize her, but her body could not bounce back.
This was not her first major medical crisis. Back in 2025, Amber suffered a bad case of pneumonia that turned into sepsis.
That infection triggered organ failure across her body and forced doctors to put her on life support. She survived that ordeal and managed to go home to recover.
More recently, Amber suffered a mini-stroke that added to her health struggles. She kept fighting through recovery, but her body gave out during this latest hospital stay.
No further details have been given about what caused the sudden liver failure. Family members are grieving privately as they deal with her sudden loss.
