A Jersey City neighborhood became the focus of a major police investigation Tuesday night after officers responded to a 911 call about an injured person inside 200 Cornelison Ave. When police reached the apartment around 8 p.m., they walked into a fatal shooting scene involving 38-year-old resident Omar Smith.
